For real, you guys. This is her at the Met Gala last night (an event celebrating the upcoming McQueen exhibit that was so splendiferous my brilliant friend Liz started an imaginary twitter version so we could imagine we were there). She’s wearing Zac Posen, and she looks so perfectly Burtonian, with her pale coloring, heart-shaped face, and ginormous eyes (not to mention the dress that looks like it was spun by a million goth spiders),  that she might as well have sprung fully formed from his head, like Athena.

She’s been in a few Burton movies, but think about it – Winona Ryder, Helena Bonham Carter, even Miranda Richardson: the man has an aesthetic type. You wonder if the casting breakdown just has a picture like this under it:
