Really, Aishwarya Rai?

Here’s the new cover of Vogue India, featuring the ridiculously beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan:

Can we just talk about this for a minute? Because ladypie here is wearing a sleek business suit with FEATHER SHOULDER PAD WINGS, and making it look like she has simply finally taken her true form as a modern Goddess of Fierceness and Face-melting Beauty.It makes me want to immediately go out and buy the knockoff version, which would probably only have cheap dyed chicken feathers and make me look like a CEO tried to do an ill-conceived version of ‘I Love You a Bushel and a Peck’.

But also, really, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan? You really need to be THAT beautiful? It’s almost absurd. I would completely buy her being one of the X-Men, except for when they go through and everybody says what their power is, they would get to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and she would just go, dudes, have you seen me?! And then there would be battle scenes were people were fighting with the spikes in their faces and their shape-shifting abilities, and she would just walk through the melee and everybody would stop fighting and be like ‘wait, is that even a human?’
