Well, kiddos, it’s been a week. A week so filled with happenings, both good, bad, and strange, that I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that my life had been temporarily taken over by the writers of Telemundo soaps.
Whenever a week like this happens, I find that the best cure (besides Margaritas) is to find something remarkable. As cheeseball as it sounds, it is easy to forget, with all our supercharged lives in which everything feels too fast and VERYIMPORTANTRIGHTNOW, that there is so much out there in the world that requires no thinking, no analysis, no worrying – just awe.
This video is one of those things. Found in a camera that washed up on a beach in Key West, it shows what happens after the camera was dropped by a diver and picked up by a sea turtle, still filming. And though it’s not going to win any Oscars for plot (although I think it has a decent shot at cinematography), I dare you to watch it and not feel a little better about everything. Because dude, you just went for a little ride in the daily life of a sea turtle. And ultimately, what’s more awesome than that?
